Beans with Garlic

You will need:

Lamb Brand Butter Beans 400g

Lamb Brand Cooking Salt Coarse to taste

Lamb Brand Ground Black Pepper to taste

Fresh Parsley 60g, finely chopped

Garlic 4 cloves, crushed

Olive Oil 2 tbsp

 

All you have to do:

Soak the beans for a minimum of 5 hours or overnight, changing the water from time to time. Rinse, add to small saucepan, cover the beans with water and bring to the boil. Simmer the beans gently till cooked. From time to time you might need to add hot water so as to prevent the beans from drying. When the beans are ready drain them.

Mix the beans with olive oil, garlic, chopped parsley and salt and pepper and serve cold.
