Gratinated Mussels with a zesty Parmesan and Walnut Crust

Tender mussels are mixed with herbs and parmesan cheese and baked until golden. Baked mussels will delight your taste buds.

You will need:

Lamb Brand Walnuts 100g, chopped

Lamb Brand Bread Crumbs 50g

Lamb Brand Black Pepper, to taste

Lamb Brand Table Salt, to taste

Butter 70g

Parmesan Cheese 25g

Mussels 20

Garlic cloves 2, finely chopped

Parsley 1 tbsp finely chopped

Juice and zest of a lemon

Onion ½, finely chopped

All you have to do is:

1. Start by heating the butter in a pan with a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic together till soft.

2. Mix in the remaining ingredients. Place the mussels in 3 or 4 onto your clean scallop shells and cover with the crumb mixture.

3. Place under a hot grill and cook for just 2-3 minutes then serve immediately.
